Saint Athanasius – Свети Атанасиј near the village of Lešok (Лешок) – Lešok Monastery – Lešočki (Leshochki Manastir) – Лешочки манастир
St. Athanasius is located in the Lešok (Leshochki) Monastery about 11 kilometers northeast of the town of Tetovo and just 1 kilometer northwest of the village of Lešok (pronounced Leshok).
Founded in 1321 by Bishop Pološki Anthony, this three-domed church and the entire complex would be destroyed by the Turks in 1690 and the Church St. Athanasius would be destroyed again by Albanians during the conflict in 2001. (1)

On the monastery grounds there is a church dedicated to The Assumption of the Virgin Mary – Uspenie na Presveta Bogorodica (Успение на Пресвета Богородица and a chapel dedicated to Sts. Cyril & Methodius (Sv. Kiril i Metodij, Св. Кирил и Методиј).
